I have taken a few hours with other instructors and Patrick is definitely the best. He is very safety conscious, clearly explains each aspect of controlling the kite, is very positive and encouraging all the while. I highly recommend him, and will come back for my daughter and son-in-law so they can have Patrick as an instructor.

Patrick is everything anyone would want for in an instructor and as a person. He is a clear communicator who often uses relational examples, follows a safe and exacting progression of theory, good habits, practice and fun. Patrick even took the time to teach maintenance of equipment, observing conditions and where to get one for one (two for one) tacos!! It is clear that he loves the sport, wants to teach correctly and exudes joy.

Patrick was really thoughtful and his attention to safety was impressive. He focused on the safest practices and kite handling above all else. I can’t rate him highly enough. I’ll be visiting him again in the future for more teaching!

I didn’t take up wind sports until I was in my 40’s. Patrick helped me get over some of my reservations, giving me a mix of great technical and safety information on the beach and personal instruction on the water.  He’s a generous person with a true love of people and command of the sports – and a go-to resource for recommendations off the water as well.  After a decade of windsurfing and now wingfoiling with Patrick and team, I am no longer a “wind widow.”  I am planning our next trip to see Patrick and Tori.
